Has anyone seen February… I seem to have misplaced it??
I can not believe that it is the 2nd of March already. Where in the hell did February go?? I know that it was a busy month, but I didn’t think busy enough to have gone THAT fast.
My wonderful father came to visit for a week to do some jobs around the house for us 🙂 The biggest one being redirecting some storm water, in the attempt to stop the flooding at the back corner of the house. The previous ownders in all of their wisdom decided to have all the gutters and downpipes directed to one side of the house! This was causing big problems when there were heavy rains. Of course as you can imagine, since Dad has ‘fixed’ the problem we haven’t had any heavy rains to test it out!
My birthday fell during the time that Dad was visiting, so that was lovely to have him here. I felt very spoilt with lots of lovely pressies and cash to buy things with. My Dad bought a new pump for the rainwater tank, which is fantastic. We used it on the weekend so the girls could eperience ‘playing under the sprinkler’ something we both did as children, but due to water restrictions are not allowed to let the girls do. They loved it!!
Miss 5 has settled in to school nicely. At times we think it has made a difference to her behaviour and other times not at all. We have just rearragned the house so that they can both have their seperate rooms now, and that has given Miss 5 somewhere to go for some quiet time if she needs it. Will update later on how that is going.
Craft/Sewing is almost at a stand still at the moment, which is frustrating…but I know the time will come where I will get a moment to do some. I just hope it is in time for me to do the birthday gift I have in mind for someone in only a week or so!
Right…well thanks to a lovely middle ear infection the screen is starting to look rather blurred and I keep nearly falling sideways off the chair. So I think I best go and lay down for a bit!!
If anyone happens to see February in their travels would they mind telling it that I missed it! lol
