First Handmade pressie!

Well this is my first handmade present for 2010. I am following a challenge thread on Simple Savings called ‘Handmade 2010’. It is a challenge to handmake some or all of the presents given out in 2010.

I am following with interest, and have a few ideas for some people. Mainly kids, but this one is actually for an adult. The girls will be finishing up with their family day carer next week and I wanted to give her a little gift to say thanks. I plan to put together a craft type goodie box, of things she can use with other kids, and thought I would include this beaded bookmark. Thinking she could use it in storytelling, or even just when she reads her own books after the kids have gone home!

I thought the charms on the end of each strand was a good representation of her care for our girls over the last few years.
