Daffodil Fun

We are in week 10 on lockdown here in, once Greater Sydney now Regional NSW, and many projects are being started, forgotten, and picked up again. We have a friend who normally does all kinds of farm days, from picking your own berries to making garlic plaits. Obviously with restrictions, the way they are this can’t be happening. We have horses on her property and go there to tend to them several times a week.

When we arrived a few weeks back she had left some lovely daffodil’s on the gate for us, our visits are all done without contact as to adhere to current rules. It was a pleasant treat to find these flowers there for us to enjoy. This then resulted in giving me the inspiration to pick up the camera again! It has been some time since I felt inspired, but these were just so lovely.

The weather wasn’t overly great so I decided to do some inside pictures in my makeshift studio/sewing room. I spent the day arranging and re-arranging. I lost heart a few times when I just didn’t seem to be able to get my settings right, but I kept going and was pretty happy with the results.

In particular, I loved playing with the little painter figures and setting up scenes with them.
