Custard Pie

Ingredients

Pie Base
1 pkt Nice biscuits
3 tablespns melted butter ( I actually used more probably double this)

Filling
3 tablespns custard powder
700ml milk
3 tablespoons sugar

Optional extra
2 tablespoons cocoa

Directions

Crush nice biscuits (best done in large zip lock bag then roll over with rolling pin), melt butter and mix into biscuits. Press into pie dish.

Make thick custard – put 500mls of milk in pan on stove, put 200mls of milk into jug. Add sugar and custard powder to the 200mls and mix well. Bring the 500mls almost to boil, and then mix in the custard mix.

Pour hot custard onto biscuit base – pop it into fridge until cool!

For chocolate option add 2 tablespoons cocoa to the custard mix.
