Rainy Day Craft

Normally once a week we take the girls to the library, however every now and again there are reasons this can’t happen. One week in particular it was raining and they both had colds so we were stuck inside all day. I needed to come up with an alternative to the library to keep them entertained.

The library time consists of a few stories and then a cut & paste craft relating to the stories. I thought this surely couldn’t be too hard to recreate at home! So I did a bit of an internet search and came up with a great website for Free Colouring pages. I picked some really simple flower drawings to print out. Cut up some shavings of wool and got out the colouring pencils.

We did the whole story thing first and then our craft. So we had our very own library storytime at home. The girls loved it!
