Milo Muffins

Monday cooking included some sweet snacks for the lunch boxes. A fav is ‘mini milo muffins’. This recipe was orignally found on Simple Savings, can’t quite remember the original poster. It is a recipe for full size muffins, however I do them in a mini muffin tray.

Milo Muffins

1 3/4 cups self-raising flour
1/2 cup dark chocolate bits
1/2 cup white chocolate bits
1 1/4 cups milk
75g butter, melted
1 cup Milo
1 egg (I sometimes use egg replacer)

1. Combine in a bowl sifted flour, and both dark and white choc bits, and milo.

2. Combine milk, butter & lightly beaten egg, add to dry ingredients and mix well. Spoon mixture evenly into deep greased muffin pans.

3. Bake in 180C fan forced oven for 10 – 15 minutes. Remove from pans, if desired dust with icing sugar.

*Adjust cooking time if using large muffin trays.
