The fabric stash…and project list!
The other day I started the massive task of washing ‘the fabric stash’. This little (ok, not so little) stash has built up over a while. Sometimes with projects in mind, and other times just because ‘this is a bargain, that I am sure will be useful’…lol. I ironed the first load today ready for when the bug hits me, or to be more truthful when I have time to follow the bug that hits me!
This is the stash as it sat on the coffee table all neatly ironed and folded. (yes I did lay it out that way for the photo, normally it would sit in piles)
Here are some of the projects that I hope to achieve out of some of these pieces.
– Fabric Dolls House
– Sandwich Bags
– Art Folder
– Crayon Rolls
– Aprons
– Kaftan type top
– Nighties
– Covered Note Books
– Fabric Dolls House
– Glasses Case
The list could go on, but this is just a start. I also have the second load on the line, darker colours & some denim. Plus a very large piece that will be for the ‘cape’ that I will be making with DS17. Something he has wanted for a long time, we got the fabric and bought the pattern, we are waiting for a day without Miss 4 & Miss 5 at home so we can tackle it together. I am sure it is something I will blog when finished. I just hope it isn’t quite the epic task that his ‘patchwork’ coat was! Will have to blog that at another stage.
Ok…now just to find time for it all!!
