What can you do in an hour?….

I asked myself this question the other day when it came to the end of my first day at home alone after school had gone back. I had enjoyed a day of doing not much at all, until I realised there was only 1 hour of it left! Then the guilt set in, and the disappointment that I had not used my time very wisely. So I thought, what can I do in the hour there is left before I need to leave and pick up the kids.

The answer was QUTIE A LOT!!! I managed to get a quick pattern drafted for the aprons done, I then selected fabric and cut the aprons out, and still had enough time to press all the edges and hems!
Of course I do realise that making this admission to myself kinda stuffs up anymore excuses regarding time that I may come up with for why any other projects remain unfinished! :-/  LOL
So here is the ‘apron project so far’

This is one of the girls aprons that I used to measure size, I had clothes sizes for Niece & Nephew but no actual measurements.

The aprons cut and ready to hem, sew and put ties on.
Will blog further when they are finished. But while still on the subject of what you can do in an hour. DD5 came home from school yesterday with the class mascot monkey. It comes home with a different child each night, the children then write a story about what they did with him. So with DD we decided to make the monkey a blanket.
This project only took half an hour, I really am running myself out of excuses aren’t I!!!
