Aprons version 2…
Recently I completed 2 aprons for my Nephew & Niece which can be seen here, as a Xmas present. Yesterday my plan was to make one each for our DD’s. I was laying in bed thinking about the ones I had done previously and how I wished I was better at doing hems, cause I wasn’t happy with the look of the hems. Then I was thinking about what fabric to do the 2 new ones in, and I had a choice between 2 from my stash….Then wham, and idea hit me. Fairly basic idea that I am sure many others already do, but anyway, I thought why not make them reversible/two sided. This would solve the problem of the hems and also use both fabric choices.
So I set about making them, and to my surprise I finished them before lunchtime! I am really happy with the way they have turned out. I have already contacted my sister letting her know to tell me when Nephew & Niece are in need of new ones so I can make them Version 2 lol.
Finally that is the ‘sewing’ side of the Xmas/Birthday preparations completed, now to move on to the rest!
